The San Antonio Estate Planners Council (SAEPC) is a local chapter of the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC). SAEPC brings the estate planning community of San Antonio together for continuing education and networking. NAEPC believes collaboration amongst estate planning professionals is key to client success in estate planning. The Council Administrator is responsible for handling all administrative duties and be the continuity between the ever-changing Board of volunteers.

Job Duties

General Council Operations

  • Maintain the books in QuickBooks
  • Work with SAEPC CPA and Treasurer on budget, revenue and expenditures
  • Remit payments for SAEPC
  • Receive and deposit funds for SAEPC
  • Keep SAEPC records organized in a secure cloud environment
  • Attend Board meetings and take minutes
  • Communication to members through email, phone and mail.
  • Update SAEPC website/Surveys
  • Reports on membership and attendance to be maintained monthly (or continually) as needed and presented to the executive committee

Luncheons/Networking/Docket Call/Kick-Off Events

  • Attend live events of SAEPC
  • Negotiate and communicate with vendors
  • Maintain CE sponsorship and reporting for SAEPC
  • Event reservations and logistics

Skills Required for Job

  • Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to reconcile transactions in QuickBooks
  • Comfortable manipulating templated websites (https://www.sanantonioepc.org/)
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Organized and comfortable with digital records
  • Flexibility to attend monthly luncheons, networking events and Board meetings
